Description

A female leopard watches for danger while quenching her thirst at an African waterhole in the Kruger National Park. I observed her in real-time make her way through thickets and across open ground to this spot in South Africa. From a blurry monochrome video I put this composition together that focuses mostly on her face, especially her eyes, and the act of drinking amidst habitat where lions are known to tread.
