Description

Red-tails soar their way along Appalachian ridges at Hawk Mountain, Pennsylvania. Every fall thousands of hawks and other raptors migrate south for the winter from northern states using the mountain chain that runs from Maine to Georgia. One of my annual visits in the fall season used to include lookout points such as this to spot and photograph similar scenes.
