Description

In Santorini, Greece, an elderly local couple watch from the protective wall outside their white-washed dwelling behind them. They seemed to be commenting on the activities, especially tourists, far below them in the little squares and narrow stone walkways. I did not speak Greek, but their quiet comments, gestures and half-smiles to each other told me they had a very long history together.
