Description

This painting is a tip-of-the-hat to Renoir’s famous impressionistic work “Luncheon of the Boating Party.” I have marveled at the original in the Phillips Collection in Washington, D.C. Both Renoir’s and my work were live-staged using friends of the artist, but while his work was presented to the public at an exhibition in Paris, I am not so fortunate. My showcase extends to internet websites, which reach more viewers than his did when first released. On the other hand, Renoir’s is considered a classic and still enjoys a world-wide reputation after 130 years. Mine, on the other hand, still awaits fame and fortune.
